The honest version

Engineers, not
account managers

Four reasons to hire us and three reasons not to. The second list is shorter but it is the one worth reading first.

Four things that are actually different

01

Three platforms, one desk

Google, Meta and Yelp are opened by the same person on the same morning. Nobody has to negotiate with another agency to move budget, and nobody has an incentive to report their own channel favorably. When Google gets expensive in your market, the money can move that week.

02

The account is worked on daily

Search terms are read every weekday and the waste is cut. This is the least glamorous thing in the business and the single largest structural difference between an account that gets cheaper over time and one that quietly does not.

03

Everything is checkable

Prices are published. The portal updates daily. Every call is recorded and you can listen to it. There is no month in which you have to wait for a PDF to find out what happened to your money.

04

The work stays in the room

Strategy, media buying, landing pages, call tracking and testing are handled by our in-house team. No subcontractor relay, no remote production line, and nobody learning your account secondhand.

Who we are the wrong choice for

Every one of these has cost us a sale, and every one of them was the right thing to say.

  • Businesses that cannot answer the phone. If calls go to voicemail during the hours the ads run, advertising will make the problem more expensive rather than solving it. Fix the phone first; it costs nothing and it is worth more than we are.
  • Anyone who wants a guarantee. We can promise the work and the transparency. We cannot promise a cost per lead in a market we have not run yet, and an agency that will is quoting somebody else’s account.
  • Budgets too small to carry the scope. Five campaigns on a small budget starves all five. If the arithmetic does not work we will say so on the call, and sometimes the honest answer is a cheaper provider or nothing at all.
The obvious objection

“Why not the cheap guy?”

It is the right question and it deserves more than a paragraph, so it has its own page: what a $400 a month provider actually delivers, taken from accounts we have inherited, written as a post-mortem rather than a hit piece.

It ends by naming the cases where a cheap provider genuinely is the right answer, which is the part that makes the rest of it worth reading.

The questions we get asked

Why are you more expensive than the agency quoting $400 a month?

Because somebody opens your account every weekday. At $400 a month nobody can afford to spend twenty minutes a day on it, so what you get is a build and then a report. The gap in price is a gap in attention, and it shows up in your cost per lead within a quarter.

Do you guarantee results?

No, and be careful with anyone who does. We control the structure, the copy, the pages, the negatives and the speed of the work. We do not control your market, your reviews, your pricing or whether the phone gets answered. What we guarantee is the work, done daily, and numbers you can check yourself.

Do you lock clients into a contract?

No. Month to month, 30 days notice, and the accounts are in your name so leaving costs you nothing but the notice. An agency that needs a twelve-month contract is telling you what it expects month four to look like.

What if I already have an agency?

Ask us for the audit anyway. We will open what you are running and give you a written list of what is wrong with it, whether or not you hire us. If the account is in good shape we will tell you that too, which happens more often than you would think.

Are you a Google Premier Partner?

Partner status is a volume badge, not a quality one, and every agency in this category displays one. A more useful question is who will be in your account on a Tuesday morning and what they will change. We are a Yelp Diamond Partner, which is worth naming because it changes what you pay.

Platform credentials

Fifteen minutes, and you will know whether this is worth doing.

Bring your numbers if you have them: what you spend, what a lead costs you, what a closed job is worth. We will tell you what we would change, whether or not you hire us.
