What we collect on this website

The site uses JavaScript for navigation, animation, video controls, forms, and performance measurement. Those presentation features run in your browser. Personal information is sent only when you submit a form, book a call, call a tracked number, or use the site while the analytics described below are active.

• Information you type into a form: your name, business, email address, phone number, trade and whatever you write in the message field.
• Appointment details you choose to provide when booking a call.
• Standard web server logs kept by our host: IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time.
• Analytics and advertising measurement, described in its own section below.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone other than the processors named in this policy.

Why we collect it

To answer you when you get in touch, to prepare for a call you have booked, to measure which advertising brings people to this site, and to keep the site secure and working.

If you become a client, we also process the data needed to run your advertising accounts, which is covered by our agreement with you rather than by this page.

Analytics and advertising measurement

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and which routes lead to a call or a booking, and we run a Meta pixel to measure our own advertising. Both set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and both send data to their respective providers, who act as independent controllers of it.

Neither is used to build a profile of you as an individual for sale or transfer. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and you can limit Meta's use of off-platform activity in your Meta account settings. Blocking either in your browser does not change what you can read or do here.

Call recording

Calls to tracked numbers we set up for client advertising campaigns may be recorded for quality and lead verification. California is a two-party consent state, so where recording applies, callers are notified before the call is recorded.

Recordings belong to the client whose campaign produced the call. If you called a business we advertise for and want a recording deleted, contact that business or contact us and we will pass the request on.

Who we share information with

Only the processors we need to operate:

• Our website host and email provider.
• Google, for analytics and advertising.
• Meta, for advertising measurement.
• Our customer relationship management system, where enquiries are stored.
• Our call tracking provider, where tracked numbers and recordings are held.

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, and we will tell you when we are permitted to do so.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become clients are kept for as long as they are commercially useful and then deleted on request or on review. Client records are kept for the life of the engagement and for as long afterwards as tax and contract law require.

Server logs are kept for a short operational period and then rotated.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to the address at the bottom of this page or call and we will handle it.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to request correction, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the Act, and you will never be treated differently for exercising a right under it.

We honour Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser.

Children

This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
