The first mood is a leak. It is raining, there is a stain on the ceiling, and the homeowner wants somebody on the roof before the next storm. That search happens at night, on a phone, in bad weather, and the business that answers gets the job. The second mood is a homeowner who has been told the roof has a few years left and has finally decided to deal with it. That one reads, compares, asks about warranty and material, and takes weeks.
Both are roofing. Neither belongs in the other's ad copy. And the moment a roofing business adds solar, the picture changes again: a solar buyer is doing arithmetic about their electricity bill and has no roof problem at all. Same crew, same ladder, completely different pitch. That is why the bracket below splits the way it does, and why a roofer selling roofs, solar and gutters is structurally a Troop account rather than a Scout one.
