A garage door fails in one of two ways: it will not open, or it will not close. The first traps a car and a person late for work. The second leaves a house open to the street overnight. Both produce a search within about a minute and a call within about five. There is no consideration phase, no second quote, and very little price sensitivity, which is why the repair side of this trade converts faster than almost anything else you can advertise.
The new-door side behaves nothing like that. It is a look-at-my-house purchase, closer to a front door or a window replacement than to a repair, with samples, colours, panel styles and a spouse. It responds to photographs and to neighborhood targeting, and it converts over weeks. Running the two together lets repair volume flatter a new-door campaign that is quietly not working, or the reverse.
